Desert Hills Dairy Farm Digesters

This facility reclaims biogas gas from animal waste, routing a manure substrate through a digester, then refining it into a usable methane gas (natural gas).

Project Breakdown

Project Summary

Converting Waste to Energy

The usable biogas will come from the converted waste of 6,000 dairy cows. Harder’s scope includes all underground piping, digester tank connections, gas piping, and truck offload piping to get this plant up and running. Once becoming operational, the site pumps refined natural gas into the southwest gas transmission line for distribution to commercial and residential customers.
