Transportation Equipment Manufacturer
This company recently expanded into the United States, by acquiring a competitor. We surveyed the client’s operations, and drafted
insurance specifications.
Further, we advised our client regarding United States Workers Compensation and a number of contractual issues, including risk transfer to
suppliers.
The decision was made to place the insurance through a local agent in the U.S., who has specialized knowledge and experience in the
client’s unique operation. We worked with that agent to ensure that all our requirements were met.
Home Products Manufacturer
Our client, an Ontario based company, merged with an American based company who manufactured complementary products. We
conducted a study on how to merge the insurance programs of these two companies, whose combined revenue exceeded $100M USD,
Church Group
Our client is a group of churches of the same Christian denomination. The need for our services was identified
by this group, as many of the members were having difficulty obtaining insurance coverages unique to churches. This included coverage for sexual abuse and
harassment, church counselling including mental anguish, and Directors and Officers Liability insurance.
We consulted with this group, and assisted them in acquiring insurance that met their needs.
Restaurant Chain
Our client is the owner/operator of a chain of ethnic family restaurants, based in Ontario. Their insurance
had not been thoroughly reviewed in a number of years, and they had been simply shopping every couple of years by obtaining “a new price, on an old policy”.
After surveying the operations of this group, we drafted insurance specifications, and tendered the program. 
We also assisted management in setting up a monitoring system, to ensure that procedural changes affecting
insurance were communicated to management, and ultimately back to us, so that we could affect changes to their insurance program in a timely fashion and avoid uninsured catastrophe losses.
